Chad has been very much involved in the funeral arrangement details with our family over the years.
In December we called again on a Sunday morning to handle the removal of our Matriarch Betty L Mason "Our Mother" .
Chad and staff fulfilled our detailed instructions with the Spirit of Excellence.
We have and always will be truly grateful for your kind hearted service.

When our family found ourselves in uncharted waters, we reached out to Strickin Funeral Home to make final arrangements for our mother. Chad Stricklin and Jody Aud readily met with the family to discuss casket and vault options. They treated our family with the utmost care, kindness and compassion. The staff went above and beyond to keep us apprised of any issues while working behind the scenes to make everything come together flawlessly. They took great care in mother’s presentation and she looked better that day than she had in years. The number of compliments we received about how peaceful and happy she looked were numerous. The day of the funeral, the entire staff worked together like an exceedingly professional organization. If the family even thought something needed attention, the staff were already tending to it. The amount of care the entire staff exhibited toward our family and guests was exceptional. Thank you for a pleasant experience during our time of loss.

Thank you to Chad Stricklin and staff at Stricklin Funeral Home, Inc., for the tender care you gave to our mother, Barbara Wallace, and to our family. You guided us with grace and dignity through every step of the funeral process. Chad exhibited compassion and kindness at such a difficult time and made everything as seamless as possible during our grief and in making the arrangements. Thank you again for your care and kindness.

From the moment we knew that my father was going to leave this earth tonhis heavenly home, i was in contact with Chad and when daddy passed, Chad was making arrangements to get him back to Illinois. We met the next day, they made making arrangements very comforting and walked us through every step and did a fabulous job on his appearance considering what his poor body went through before his death. Explaining the vault choices and casket choices were so very helpful. They made all calls to appropriate military units to give him a proper tribute. Walked us through life insurance papers to get benefits appropriately handled for us and that they would get paid without us having to worry. Our family hairstylist worked wonders on his hair and made sure my mom got a locket of his hair. Once we were ready to order his headstone and footstone....they sat with and helped us design a beautiful piece. Fixed and issue that came up quickly and it was set in a timely manner. The day of the funeral was a big ice storm and they quickly made arrangements for a bigger hearse for getting us up the terrain at the cemetery. They assisted us in the FEMA paperwork due to Covid and we can't thank them enough. Chad and Scott were absolutely wonderful and my mom, my husband and I have all made our pre arrangements with them, which was all handled so delicately. Chad makes flag cases and they are beautiful. They were also so wonderful with my cousin 6 weeks prior when my cousin took his life. I worked with them when we had to raise funds to pay for his funeral and he had no life insurance. They were so understanding and took great care of them as well as my other cousin who lost her twins and they had to be cremated. Stricklin Funeral Home( FK known as Reed Funeral Chapel) are a wonderful family oriented business to help during a very difficult time.

Thank you Reed Funeral Chapel for everything you did for us during the passing of our mother, Wilma Hicks. Chad Strickland and Scott Johnson were friendly, compassionate, kind and professional from start to finish treating us like we were part of their family. Our mother looked amazing and they provided personal care right down to the painting of her fingernails (which mom would have loved). The video was professional and the copies provided will make a wonderful keepsake for the family. The services were seamless and helped to make a difficult day bearable - thank you for everything!
