Virginia (Elliott) Ison

     Virginia Ison, age 96, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2022 in Harrisburg, Illinois.

     She was born Virginia Georgene Elliott on April 16, 1926, to John and Marie Elliott in Elton, Wisconsin. She was married to Otis Ison. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Matt (Mary) Ison, Diania (Dale) Wingo, Karen (Del) Rhoton, Bill (Leslie) Ison, Roberta (Freeman) Banks, Bob (Peggy) Ison, 34 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. One brother, John Elliott, sisters, Nila Kaeser, Tina Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, daughters, Gailia Hampton, Julia Duncan, Debra Sutherland and an infant daughter, Catherine. Two sons, Greg and Elliott Ison, brothers, Bill, Wayne and Sam Elliot, sisters Liz Mayer, Bonnie McKeever, Carole Butler and Linda Bigelow.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date.
