Thomas L. Gott

     Thomas L. Gott, Sr., age 82, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at 4:15 AM at the Putnam Center.

     Thomas was born on September 14, 1939 in White County to the late Roy and Nigel (Hale) Gott.  He married Katherin Nell on April 28, 1962 and she preceded him in death on May 28, 2014. Thomas worked as a coal miner and later as a truck driver.

     Thomas is survived by three sons, Keith Gott and wife, Bonnie of Harrisburg; Nick Gott and wife, April of Raleigh; and Tommy Lee Gott of Harrisburg: grandchildren, Melissa Williams, Jerod Keith Gott, Eric Justin Gott, Joshua Tyler Gott, Nikolas Jordon Gott, Johnathon Nigel Gott, Merci Paige Gott, Kaleigh Marie Gott, Blake Thomas Gott, and Sophia Katherine Gott; sister, June Esch of Hurricane, West Virginia.

     Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, James Gott.

     Graveside services for Thomas L. Gott, Sr. will be at 1 PM, Monday, October 25, 2021 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.  Rev. Dwayne Taylor will officiate and burial will follow.
