Tamara Jeannine Loy Hardy, 65, of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:33 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at her home.
Tamara was born on June 16, 1960, in Porterville, California, to the late John Edward Loy and Mary Louise Hardy.
She was a homemaker and hell raiser who enjoyed painting, decorating, and shopping at yard sales, where she loved finding unique treasures to make a room feel beautiful and welcoming. Tamara had a special love for pets and animals, especially her dogs. She was known for her free spirit, strong will, and fearless nature.
Tamara is survived by her children, Natalia Avila and her husband, Edgardo Cunanan of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Leticia Avila of McAlester, Oklahoma; her three grandchildren, Angelo Avila-Cunanan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Raphael Avila-Cunanan of Hollywood, California, and Angelina Flores-Avila of McAlester, Oklahoma; her brother, Randy Hardy of Albion, Oklahoma; her sister, Sheila Frazier of Jones, Oklahoma; and six nieces.
In addition to her parents, Tamara was preceded in death by her stepfather, Larry Warren Hardy.
Per Tamara's wishes, no services will be held.
