Shelby Machelle (Brandon) Hodge

     Shelby Machelle Hodge, age 35 of Eldorado, passed away at 12:25 AM, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Accent Care Hospice in Chicago, Illinois.

     Shelby was born on July 13, 1989 in Herrin to Alan Brandon and Sherry (Binkley) Owen.  She attended First Baptist Church of Eldorado.  Shelby loved the Halmark Channel, and spending time with her kids at sporting events, the zoo and waterparks.  She was a very strong and caring person.  Her kids were her number one priority; everything she did revolved around them.

     Shelby is survived by her two children, daughter, Anyiah Hodge of Eldorado; son, Leighton Hodge of Eldorado; mother, Sherry Owen and husband Billy of Eldorado; brother, Caleb Owen of Eldorado; half-brother, Dereck Brandon of Florida; aunt, Karen Smith of Paducah, Kentucky; uncle, Steve Binkley of Harrisburg; and aunt, Marlana Catalano of Mt. Vernon.

     Shelby was preceded in death by her father, Alan Brandon; maternal grandparents, Robert and Virginia Binkley; paternal grandparents, Bill Brandon and Shelby Rhine; and uncle, Robert Dale Binkley.

     Memorial services for Shelby Machelle Hodge will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Rev. Randy Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, June 14, 2025.  Memorial contributions may be made to Stricklin Funeral Home and will be received at the funeral home.
