Scott A. Rector

     Scott A. Rector, age 57 of Harrisburg, passed away at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, Indiana on August 8, 2024 at 9:55 PM.

     Scott was born on August 27, 1966 in Harrisburg to Clifford “Nick” and Donna (Hunt) Rector. On August 27, 2010 he married Vickie Lindsay and she survives in Harrisburg. Scott worked as a laborer for the Laborers’ Union Local 773 and worked over 28 years at Tison and Hall. He enjoyed playing poker, bow hunting for turkey and deer. He was a good son, father, and husband.

     Scott is survived by his wife, Vickie Rector; mother, Donna Rector of Harrisburg; daughter, Amber D. Rector of Harrisburg; son, Jacob S. Rector of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Carsyn, Easton, Ryder, Waylon, Braylon, and Mylah; and brother, Shawn Rector and wife Brandy of Harrisburg.

     Scott was preceded in death by his father, Clifford “Nick” Rector.

     Graveside services for Scott A. Rector will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 12, 2024 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Rev. Jerry Wells will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation and envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
