Sandra Lynn (Bush) Dixon

     Sandra Dixon, age 70, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away at 1:30 AM, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her residence surround by her family.

     Sandra was born on September 26, 1955 in Lynch, Kentucky to the late Linza and Gladys (McKnight) Bush. She married Toy Dixon in 1975 and he survives in Harrisburg. Sandra earned a master's degree in biology and natural science and earned a bachelor's degree in education. She worked as a lab tech for the Red Cross and as a pediatric nurse in Birmingham, Alabama. Sandra served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisburg. Sandra enjoyed scrapbooking, making homemade cards, and bird watching. She regularly volunteered at Chossier Soup Kitchen. Sandra was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

     In addition to her husband, Toy, Sandra is survived by her daughter, Heather Thompson of Perryville, Kentucky; son, Chad Dixon and wife Katy of Harrisburg, Illinois; son, Seth Dixon of Harrisburg, Illinois; five grandchildren, Shelby Thompson of Marion, Illinois; Sadie Thompson of Perryville, Kentucky; Ava Dixon of McLeansboro, Illinois; Riley Dixon of Harrisburg, Illinois; and Dalton Dixon of Harrisburg, Illinois; sister, Wanda Isom of London, Kentucky; brother, Jeff Bush of Cumberland, Kentucky; sister, Dinah Day and husband Mike of Cumberland, Kentucky; sister, Melody Bird of Perryville, Kentucky; and serval nieces and nephews.

     No services will be held for Sandra Dixon.
