Roxann Keasler, age 65 of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:20 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Roxann was born on September 22, 1955 in Harrisburg to Kenny and Carla (Castle) Ragsdale. She worked as a restorative coordinator at the VA Medical Center in Marion and had many certifications. Her certifications included RN, BSN, BC, CRRN and CHPN. She was also certified as a hospice and palliative nurse, rehabilitation nurse and psychiatric-mental health nurse. Roxann also completed the Star-VA training program. She loved to watch the SI Miners play baseball. She enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grand babies. Roxann was a hard worker who took great pride in her profession.
Roxann is survived by her son, Jason Keasler of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Courtney Keasler of Galatia; grandson, Braxton Keasler of Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Brayden Keasler of Harrisburg; grandson, Brody Keasler of Harrisburg; great granddaughter, Gracelyn of Galatia; sister, Kimberly Wright of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Roxann was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at Sunset Garden Cemetery at 3 PM, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 and Jeff Rush will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society – Pancreatic Cancer. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the funeral home.
