Randle Lloyd Hogg, age 71, of Harrisburg, passed away at 4:40 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carrier Mills.
Lloyd was born on January 8, 1950 in Pope County, to the late Charles Lloyd and Loren A. (Smith) Hogg. He married Kathy Ann Smith on April 21, 1977. Lloyd served his country in the United States Army and later worked at the Williams Quarry for fourteen years. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Lloyd is survived by his son Cory Hogg and wife, Julia of Vancouver, Washington; daughter, Randi Hall of Carbondale; six grandchildren, Dalton Hall of Harrisburg; Emily Hogg of Harrisburg; Danielle Hall of Harrisburg; Caleb hogg of Harrisburg; Grayson Hogg of Vancouver, Washington; and Wesley Hogg of Vancouver, Washington; two great grandchildren, Remmi Rose Lewis and Axel Ryan Lee Hogg; half-brother, Herschel Smith of Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Hogg; sister, Betty Imogene Holberg; and sister-in-law, Maxine Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Hogg Family Cemetery in Herod. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow.
