Patsy Butterworth Obituary

     Patsy Lou Butterworth, of Harrisburg was called home at 4:15 AM on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at her residence. 

     Pat was born October 1st, 1940 in Harrisburg to Bill and Raetta (Duffy) Hutchcraft. Bill moved his family to Walled Lake Michigan where Pat grew up and spent most of her adult life. There she raised seven beautiful children before deciding to return to Southern Illinois in 2000. Once back she met Robert Butterworth, and they married on April 27th, 2001. Pat enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, cooking, and most special to her, her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

     Pat is survived by her husband, Bob Butterworth of Harrisburg; seven children, Dee Pyle of Harrisburg, Steve (Elaine) Tillman of Farmington Hills, Michigan; Mike (Shelly) West of West Bloomfield, Michigan; Will (Karen) West of Harrisburg, Joe West (Mark Kemler) of San Rafael, California; Susan Tolstyka of White Lake, Michigan; Angi (Jeff) Pyle of Swartz Creek, Michigan; grandchildren, Nikki (Doug) Williams, Michael Pyle, Andrew Tolstyka, Sarah Tolstyka, Cameron Pyle, Riley Pyle, Halie West, and William West; great grandchildren, Chris Williams, Chloe Williams, and Emma Williams; sister, Sue Hutchcraft; and brother, Charles Hutchcraft. 

      Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother Bill Hutchcraft and sister-in-law Ruth Hutchcraft; husband of her children, George West and son-in-law, Paul Pyle.

     Private service will be held and internment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left for her family on her obituary page at www.stricklinfuneralhome.com.
