Patricia "Pat" (Cambron) Roberts

     Patricia “Pat” Roberts, age 93 of Olney, Illinois formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:10 PM, March 11, 2025 at Stonebridge Memory Care, Olney, Illinois.  

     Pat was born on June 14, 1931 in Flora, Illinois to the late Park and Erma (Morris) Cambron.  On November 11, 1953 she married Donald M. Roberts and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2011.  She was an RN in her early years, but after her children were born, she was a stay-at-home mom to care for them.  Pat was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg.  She loved to china paint; but her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a good and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.     

     Pat is survived by her son, Charles C. Roberts and wife Barbara of Ft. Myers, Florida; son, James M. Roberts and wife Tammie of The Villages, Florida; daughter, Donna Greer and husband Larry of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Catherine Parks of Houston, Texas; Suzanne Roberts of San Diego, California; Christina Kapicka and husband Bryan of Park Ridge, Illinois; Joseph Donald Roberts and wife Jessica of Gainesville, Florida; Dustin Bramlet and wife Samantha of Norris City, Illinois; Danielle Brown and husband Cody of Eldorado, Illinois; Dresdyn Baldwin and husband Keaton of Norris City, Illinois; four great grandsons, Pierce Parks of Houston, Texas; Charles and Anderson Kapicka of Park Ridge, Illinois; and Hayden Brown of Eldorado, Illinois; Brother, James Cambron and wife Betty of Danville, Illinois.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Don, Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Bette West of Augusta, Georgia and Martha Boose of Olney, Illinois.

     Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Roberts will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg.  Rev. Laurie Fields will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg and will be received at the funeral home
