Nellie Marie Childs

    Nellie Marie Childs, age 71, of Eldorado, passed away at 2:10 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana.
    Nellie was born on April 1, 1951 in Harrisburg, to the late John and Emily (Propes) Childs. Nellie was a caregiver. She was a member of the Harrisburg Lions and Lioness Club and enjoyed playing Bingo. Nellie always made sure others were taken care of by putting others needs before her own. She was a kind and gentle soul.
    Nellie is survived by a daughter, Mandy Childs and loving boyfriend Jeff Wells of Columbia, Tennessee and grandson, Andrew Frailey of Illinois; life partner, Patrick Duffee of Eldorado and grandchildren, Kali Duffee of Eldorado; Blaine Duffee of Harrisburg; Tylar Duffee of Harrisburg.
    In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded by a sister, Judy Sivok.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
