Myrna Loy (Smiddy) Everett

     Myrna Loy Everett, age 88 of Beckemeyer, formerly of Harrisburg passed away at 10:44 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Evercare of Breese surrounded by her family.

     Myrna was born on December 1, 1937 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Arthur S. and Edna Marie (Krieg) Smiddy.  She married William K. Everett on December 26, 1979 and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2019.  Myrna was a homemaker.  She was protestant by faith.

Myrna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

     Myrna is survived by her daughter, Gina Foster of Beckemeyer, Illinois; son, Randy Banovz of McLeansboro, Illinois; son, Kevin Bernardini of Goodyear, Arizona; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.    

     In addition to her parents and husband, William, Myrna was preceded in death by daughter, Lynne Ibeck; brother, Richard Smiddy; Norman Smiddy; brother, Gordon Smiddy; and sister, Gloria Hopper.

     Memorial services for Myrna Loy Everett will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at LaMaster’s Church in Marion, Illinois.
