Mary Lou (Beal) Herring

     Mary Lou Herring, 68, of Marion, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:28 PM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her residence.

    Mary Lou was born on December 16, 1952 in Harrisburg, to the late Kelly and Dorothy (Towery) Beal.  She married Jimmy Herring and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2014.  Mary Lou was a homemaker and a member of Big Saline Baptist Church.

     Mary Lou is survived by her step daughter, Teresa Martin of Creal Springs, Illinois; step granddaughter, Jessica Ford of Harrisburg, Illinois; sister, Wilma Hinant of Harrisburg, Illinois; brothers, Darol Beal and wife Carolyn of Harrisburg, Illinois; Lucian Beal and Mary Ann Combs of Harrisburg, Illinois; Kelly Beal and wife Kay of Harrisburg, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Ronnie Beal of Marion, Illinois; Kimberly Collette of Harrisburg; Darrell Beal of Harrisburg, Illinois; Jonathan Beal of Vincennes, Indiana; Erin Nikki Feazel and husband Derek of Harrisburg, Illinois; Sherri Bishop and husband Perry of Harrisburg, Illinois; Chris Beal of Louisville, Kentucky; Mike Beal of Clearwater, Florida; and Lori Beal of Chicago, Illinois, and several great nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services for Mary Lou Herring will be held at 1 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery near Dykersburg. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Memorials may be made to Coal Banks Springs Cemetery and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
