Marion "Bud" Lowell Proctor

     Marion Lowell “Bud” Proctor, age 86 of Grant Park, Illinois, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away 5:40 PM, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Beecher Manor.   

     Bud was born on July 26, 1935 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Clarence W. and Margaret (Price) Proctor. He worked as a plasterer and mechanic. Bud loved gardening and woodworking.  He made several jewelry boxes, clocks and bird houses that are cherished by his family.

    Bud is survived by two sons, Steve Proctor and his wife, Regina; and son, Bob Proctor; special niece, Lisa Sheldon; grandchildren, Kassie Poplawski and husband, Linn; Nicole Lopez and husband, Arty; Katie Proctor; great-grandchildren, Piper, Cooper and Maverick; siblings Alma Moake and husband, Jim; Betty Anderson; Mary Miles and husband, George; and Jim Proctor and wife, Dorothy.

    Bud was preceded in death by his parents and son, George Michael Proctor.

    Graveside services will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at Noon at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice of Beecher or Brookstone Estates of Harrisburg. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
