Marilyn Jean (Thornberry) Lane

    Marilyn Jean Lane, 91, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:27 PM, Monday, June 27, 2022 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

    Marilyn was born on March 20, 1931 in Raleigh, to the late Rainey and Irene (Deal) Thornberry.  She married Daniel Dale Lane in June of 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1995. 

     Marilyn is survived by two children, daughter, Jennifer Farnsworth and husband, Benjamin of Dorsey; son, Paul Lane and wife, Elizabeth “Liz” of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Matthew Farnsworth of St. Charles, Missouri; Sarah Hale and husband, Charles of Evansville, Indiana; Kattie Lane of Marion; and Jacob Lane of Princeton, Indiana.

     Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Donald Thornberry.

     Private funeral services will be held with Rev. Scott Johnson officiating and burial will follow in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.reedfuneralchapel.com.
