Linda Kay "Lynn" Schwartz

     Linda Kay “Lynn” Schwartz, age 78, of Harrisburg, passed away at 7:10 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

     Lynn was born March 3, 1944 in Harrisburg to the late John William “Bill” and LaVivian (Sperling) Denny.  She married Stanson Schwartz on December 14, 1975 and he survives.  Lynn was a very strong Christian lady, who believed in the power of prayer. Lynn was constantly praying for her family. She was formerly a member of Land Street Church of God in Harrisburg, Illinois.  Lynn enjoyed a leisurely country ride in the car, shopping and working with her houseplants and flowers. She also had a good eye for interior decorating. Lynn deeply loved her family and she loved being around kids.

     In addition to her husband Stanson, Lynn is survived by three siblings, sister, Jan Bond and husband Ted of Harrisburg; brother, John Denny and wife Donna of Harrisburg; sister, Sandi Ley of Harrisburg; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; aunt, Linda Byron and husband Kenny of Harrisburg.

     Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and LaVivian Denny, brother, Garry Denny, and father and mother-in-law, Glen and Carla Schwartz; Carla was also Lynn’s sister.

     Private services will be held for Lynn. Rev. David Miller will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
