Lea Michelle (Odom) Emmons

     Lea Michelle Emmons, 56, of Harrisburg, passed away at 7:45 AM, Friday, April 29, 2022 at her residence.

    Lea was born on May 24, 1965 in Harrisburg, to Gary Odom and the late Chrystine (Teal) Odom.  She loved her children and she loved animals. Lea enjoyed helping others, as well as reading. Her family described her as a sweet, loving and kind person.

     Lea is survived by three children, daughter, Casey Bartlett and fiancé, Timothy Steele of Galatia; daughter, Destiny Nicole Emmons of Harrisburg; son, Lucas Emmons of Marion; lifelong partner, Mark Kingston of Harrisburg; father, Gary Odom; brother, Greg Odom and wife, Karen of Culver, Indiana; nephew, Gregory Odom II and wife, Leslie of Dix; nephew, Andrew Odom of Culver, Indiana; great nephew, Gregory Odom III, and great niece, Lilian Odom.

     Funeral services for Lea Michelle Emmons will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery near Dykersburg. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
