LeRoy D. Steinsultz, age 84, of Harrisburg, passed away at 4:30 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his home.
LeRoy was born on July 28, 1939 in Harrisburg to Noble and Mary (Heflin) Steinsultz. On June 30, 1962 at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church in Galatia he married the former Frieda Joyce Winters. She preceded him on January 23, 2006.
LeRoy was working as a consultant for Townley Engineering and Manufacturing Company at the time of his death. Prior to working at Townley, he worked for Penn Central/Conrail Railroad and Sahara Coal Company, as well as a self-employed electrician. He was a member of
Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. LeRoy loved bluegrass music, Family Feud, and Judge Harvey, anything with Steve Harvey in it. He loved to be funny and had a witty sense of humor.
LeRoy is survived by his sons, Greg Steinsultz and wife Kim, Ken Steinsultz and wife Jill, daughters, Keri Holland, Mary Steinsultz-Jones and husband Robert, Erin Steinsultz and Andrew “Drew” Cima; grandchildren, Kaleb Martineau and wife Rachel, Daniel Martineau and wife Ashley, Seth Martineau, Riley Jones and fiancé Sadie Pinnell, Gillian Jones, Ryder Cima, Madeline Steinsultz, Drew Steinsultz, Courtnie Niebauer and husband Peter, Jonathon Steinsultz and wife Cassi, Jarrett Steinsultz and wife Nicki, and Gregory Steinsultz and wife Amber; sisters, Ruby Milligan, and Freda Thomason and husband Russell, thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, as well as his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Joni at birth, sister, Marida Graham, great grandson, Lincoln Martineau.
Funeral services for LeRoy D. Steinsultz, will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Rev. Steve Dunn will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Stricklin Funeral Home.
