Kenneth Wayne Absher

     Kenneth Wayne Absher, age 68, passed away at 3:10 AM, March 1, 2025 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

     Kenneth was born on May 6, 1956 to Walter E. and Bonnie L. Absher.  He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Absher.  Kenneth spent the last several years in Saline Care Nursing Home with many health problems. 

     Kenneth is survived by his mother, Bonnie Absher; one brother, Gary Dale Absher (Kathy) of Oxford, Michigan; three nieces, Kristy Absher-Gallagher (Andrew) of Houston, Texas; Sarah Absher-Clements (Patrick) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Emily K. Absher of Oxford, Michigan; many cousins in Southern Illinois; many relatives in Southern Illinois; Georgia Murphy (Joe) and family – Kenny Joe, Sherry Chrisman, Shiela Foster and families - they have all been very helpful; Tom Campbell and family of Carbondale, Illinois and Catherine Sauerburnn (Darrell) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and family.

     Private services for Kenneth Wayne Absher will be held. Rev. Trent Duncan will officiate and burial will follow in Simmons Cemetery near Creal Springs.
