Judith "Judy" Carlene (Hicks) Wren

     Judith “Judy” Carlene Wren, age 80, of Harrisburg, passed away at 8:41 AM, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

     Judy was born on May 19, 1940 in Harrisburg, to the late Carlos Hicks and Eunice (Patton) Bundren. She married Franklin Wren on September 15, 1956 and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2015.  Judy was a member of the Gaskin’s City Baptist Church where she was baptized on November 11, 2018. Judy loved to cook, sew, and crochet; and she loved to camp with her family at Lake Glendale. She loved her grandchildren.

     Judy is survived by her children, Dale Wren and wife Lisa of Marion; and Mark Wren and wife Kelly of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Megan Fuller and husband John of Equality, and McKayla Wren of Henderson, Kentucky; and a great-granddaughter, Wrenlee Grace Fuller of Equality.

     In addition to her husband, and parents, Judy was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Puttmann.

     Graveside services for Judy will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
