Judith Carole Molinarolo, 81, of Muddy, passed away at 8:55p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Carole was born on June 22, 1941, in Beech Grove, Kentucky to the late Harold and Lucille (Hunt) Ambrose. She married James “Jim” Molinarolo on April 10, 1965 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1997.
Carole was a graduate of Central High School in Evansville, Indiana and went on to become a radiologic technician, specializing in mammography working at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado and later at Cleveland Community Hospital in Cleveland, Tennessee before retiring in 2007. She and her husband Jim owned and operated the Gateway Inn Restaurant and Lounge for over two decades.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg and Delta Theta Tau sorority. She participated in several card clubs, enjoyed many volunteer roles in the community throughout the years, was an avid reader and was passionate about indoor and outdoor gardening. Carole was dearly loved by her friends and family and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her three children, Julie Arsta of Franklin, Tennessee, Mark Molinarolo of Eldorado, and Matthew Molinarolo and wife Richelle of Muddy; seven grandchildren, Lydia (Isaac) Murphy, of Nashville, Tennessee; Will and Jack Arsta of Franklin, Tennessee; Jameson Molinarolo of Harrisburg; Alex Molinarolo of Eldorado; Addyson Jones and Ava Molinarolo of Muddy; sister, Janice Darrar of Punta Gorda, Florida; sister-in-law, Frances Bertino of Muddy; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Villas of Hollybrook and the staff of Ferrell Hospital for their care throughout the past year.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg with Father Christian Iwuagwu officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of your choice.
