Juan Deigo De-La-Rosa

     Juan De-La-Rosa, age 56 of Harrisburg passed away at 10:51 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his residence.

     Juan was born on December 25, 1968 in Santa Monica, California to the late Edward Jesus and Linda Louise (Barker) De-La-Rosa.  He enjoyed music and movies, especially Madonna and comedies.  Juan liked Snoopy and the Peanuts   He was simple, but also like to be stylish.  Juan was caring and loved children and children loved him.      

     Juan is survived by his brothers, Francisco De-La-Rosa of Panorama City, California; brother, Edwardo De-La-Rosa of Los Angelos, California; nephew, Johnny De-La-Rosa of Panorama City, California; cousin, Robin Rodriguez of Eldorado; cousin, Jackie Asenas of Fresno, California; Rose Marie Asenas and fiancée, Thomas Edwards IV of Harrisburg; great niece and god-daughter, Gwindolynn Alvey of Harrisburg; many more cousins, nieces, nephews and god-children, family and friends; for Juan you didn’t have to share blood to be family.

     In addition to his parents. Juan was preceded in death by his sister, Monica Lynn De-La-Rosa; nephew, David Lugo; grandparents. Suzan and Clarence Barker, and several aunts and uncles.

     A celebration of life for Juan De-La-Rosa will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Mizpah General Baptist Church, 709 Roberts Street, Harrisburg, Illinois, 62946.
