Jesse Lukancic

     Jesse Lukancic, age 85 a resident of Axiom Healthcare of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:47 PM, Monday, February 9, 2026 at Deaconess Illinois in Marion.

     Jesse was born on October 20, 1940 in Galatia, Illinois to the late William and Josephine (Hrasar) Lukancic.  He married Marilyn Kay Locher and she preceded him in death on July 19 2006.  Jesse served his country in The United Stated Army during Vietnam.  He was a Machinist and Owner of KLJ Machining Inc in Joliet.  Jesse enjoyed fishing and taking care of animals.

     Jesse is survived by his daughter, Khara Lukancic of Harrisburg, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents and wife, Marilyn, Jesse was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jim” Lukancic; brother, William “Bill” Lukancic; twin sister, Josie Butlar; sister, Evelyn Thompson; sister, Thelma Mainer; and one sister in infancy.

     No services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or the Bobo Fund and can left at the funeral home.
