Jeffery Dale "Weeze" Seets

     Jeffery Dale “Weeze” Seets, age 61, of Stonefort, passed away at 3:55 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Herrin Hospital. 

     Weeze was born in Harrisburg on August 28, 1963 to the late James and Phyllis (Gulley) Seets.  He worked as a Sales Rep. at Durham Hardware and most recently at R. P. Lumber.  Weeze was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #0458 of Carrier Mills.  Weeze enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the American Poolplayers Association Pool League playing out of Centerfield, with “Chalks Free”.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. 

     Weeze is survived by his brother, Jim Tolbert and wife Diana of Carrier Mills; sister, Jennifer Oneal and husband Steven of Carrier Mills; brother, John Seets and wife Dena of Carrier Mills; niece, Stephanie Cluck and husband Shawn of Harrisburg; niece, Britney McClusky and husband Josh of Carrier Mills; niece, Emily Oneal of Pittsburg; great nieces and nephew, Peyton, Trinity, Rowan, Indie, Jacie, Jalyn, Jadyn, Hunter, Haylei, and Tripp; great, great niece, Eloise, and good friend, Jesse Sais of Harrisburg.

     Funeral services for Jeffery Dale “Weeze” Seets will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home.  Masonic Rites will be conducted at 3 PM and the funeral service will immediately follow.  Rev. Dale Martin will officiate and burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
