Jason Aaron Smith

     Jason Aaron Smith, age 43 of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:12 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Evansville, Indiana.

     Jason was born on December 15, 1979, in Harrisburg to the late Marcy Kolar and Vickie Lynn Smith. Jason formerly worked as a carpenter for Ratliff Construction. He was a good-hearted man that had a special place in his heart for animals. Jason loved working with his hands.

     Jason is survived by his aunt and uncle William and Patricia Heflin of Galatia; cousin Jamie Phillips of Harrisburg; caregiver, Michael Brandt of Harrisburg; and several cousins.

     In addition to his parents, Jason was preceded in death by a cousin, Ronnie Bell; maternal grandmother, Mary L. Smith and paternal grandmother, Granny Kolar.

     Memorial services for Jason Aaron Smith will be held at a later date.
