Jane Rose (Fulkerson) Fields

     Jane Rose "Janie" (Fulkerson) Fields, 67 of Harrisburg, passed away at 8:28 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.

     Janie was born on October 29, 1955 in Harrisburg to the late Roy and Barbara (Roberts) Fulkerson. She married Bobby Fields on November 14, 1985. Janie was a graduate of Harrisburg High School, class of 1973, and a graduate of SIC, class of 1974. Janie worked at the Harrisburg National Bank, and then later as a Business Administrator at IYC from which she retired in 2010. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Janie had a passion for sewing, and loved spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and never missed a school event. She especially loved listening to her granddaughter Rachel play piano and grandson James play guitar. Janie was a devout Christian and had incredibly strong faith. By putting her trust in God, she was always able to see the positive side of a situation. Janie will be loved and missed by many.

     Janie is survived by her husband, Bobby; son, Daniel Hutchinson; granddaughter, Rachel Hutchinson; grandson, James Hutchinson, all of Harrisburg. 

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Freda Roberts, and aunt and uncle, Wendell and Frannie Roberts.

    Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 followed by funeral services at 2 PM at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
