Henrietta (Stout) Beltz, age 92, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:33 PM, on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her residence.
Henrietta was born on September 15, 1933 in Eldorado, Illinois to the late Henry and Fern (Shaver) Stout. She married Gary Beltz and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2010. Henrietta retired from Walmart, where she worked in the Ladies Department. She enjoyed crocheting and made afghans for all the members of the family. Henrietta also embroidered and did a lot of sewing. She was a Dale Ernhardt Jr. fan. Most recently she enjoyed watching Fox News on TV. Henrietta’s great-grandchildren were the Joy of Her Life.
Henrietta is survived by her son, William “Bill” Heflin and wife Patty of Galatia; daughter, Carolyn Saling of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Debbie Heflin of Galatia; seven grandchildren, Chasidy Price and husband Cullen of Thompsonville; Aaron Heflin and Melissa Phelps of Galatia; Heather Mocaby of Evansville, Indiana; Hillary Walker and husband Wade of Galatia; Cody Heflin and wife, Natalie of Herrin; Claude Saling of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sam Saling of Colorado Springs, Colorado; twelve great-grandchildren, Cletus, Colee, Corissa, Taylor, Brandon, Chase, Addie, Gage, Cayden, Caitlin, and Cooper; eight great great-grandchildren, Sadie, Holden, Opal, Ozzlyn, Jaxon, Jensen, Aysa, and Rileigh; one sister, Judy Wiggins of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Gary, Henrietta was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Heflin, grandson, Steven Saling; sister, Jenny Stout; brother, Jack Stout, brother, David Stout; sister, Mary Chaffin; and best friend, Wilma Rickett.
Graveside services for Henrietta Beltz will be held at 2 PM, on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Peyton will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Cottage Grove Cemetery or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
