Hazel Marie (Seets) Hutchison

      Hazel Marie Hutchison, age 79, of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:10 AM, Monday, April 24, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

      Hazel was born on June 18, 1943 to the late George W. and Mary Edith (Holloman) Seets.  On October 10, 1959 she married Bill Hutchison and he passed away on January 4, 2016.  Hazel was a homemaker and a member of the New Life Christian Center Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and friend to most who knew her. Hazel loved spending time with her family. She was loved beyond measure and will be missed immensely.

      Hazel is survived by five children; daughter, Billie Sanders of Harrisburg; son, Stan Hutchison and wife Lisabeth of Stonefort; son, Kelly Hutchison and wife Trisha of Sturgis, Michigan; daughter, Wendy Griffith of Harrisburg; and daughter Kim Powers of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren, Casey Chappell and husband Derek of Equality; Chelsea Griffith and husband Theodore Dunk of Carbondale; Devon Irvin and husband Kevin of Jackson, Tennessee; Taylor Griffith of Titusville, Florida; Zach Hutchison and wife Shea of Carbondale; Max Hutchison and wife Jaclyn of Lansing, Michigan; Whitney Ward and husband Jordan of Muddy; Alexa Hutchison of Harrisburg; Brooklyn Keown of Equality; Dalton Hutchison of Harrisburg; and Noah Hutchison of Stonefort. eleven great grandchildren, Paisley Chappell of Equality; Ridge Chappell of Equality; Lennon Chappell of Equality; Liam Irvin of Jackson, Tennessee; Sam Ward of Muddy; Jace Johnson of Harrisburg; Tanner Wilson of Equality; Josie Hutchison of Carbondale; Auriana Johnson of Harrisburg; Adalynn Lane of Equality; and Josiah Hutchison of Carrier Mills; three step great-grandchildren, Travion Johnson, of Harrisburg; Damarion Johnson of Harrisburg; and Darion Johnson of Harrisburg; and brother, Danny Seets of Harrisburg.

      In addition to her parents and husband, Bill, Hazel was preceded in death by her son, Roger Hutchison; granddaughter, Ashley Brown; sister, Sylvia Herndon, sister, Bessie White; sister, Laverne Odle; brother, Jake Seets; brother, John Seets; brother, Wayne Seets; sister, Stella Wright; sister, Kay Wilson; and brother, Billy Seets.

      Funeral services for Hazel Marie Hutchison will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg.  Burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 2 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
