Obituary

Gary J. Janssen, age 75, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at his residence.

Gary was born on December 12 1947 in Streator, Illinois to Gilbert and Zelda (Loftus) Janssen. He served his country in Vietnam and owned his own bar in Minonk, Illinois. Gary also enjoyed photography.

Gary is survived by his sons Eric Janssen and wife Kristy of Minonk, Illinois; Todd Janssen of Farmer City, Illinois; Robbie Rients and wife Mary of Utica Illinois; Greg Rients and wife Ann of South Carolina. Grandchildren Zach Janssen, Tyler Janssen, Abby Janssen, Dirk Rients, Seth Rients. God bless our father and grandfather and welcome him into your kingdom. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
