Everett Eugene Ellett

     Everett Eugene Ellett, 60 of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:07 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the home of his sister in Harrisburg.

     Everett was born on September 9, 1965 in Murphysboro, to the late Everett and Grace (Trexler) Ellett. On June 11, 1995 he married Maria Claudio and she survives in Chicago. Everett worked as an electronic technician repairing various types of gaming machines. He loved to fish and play guitar.

     In addition to his wife Maria, Everett is survived by a son, Anthony Ellett of Chicago; daughter, Christina Ellett of Marion; daughter, Tracy Hawk and husband Taylor of Chicago; four grandchildren, Eli Ellett of Chicago, Laylah Reed, Kennedi Reed and Eben Reed all of Herrin; sister, Elizabeth Yackley of Harrisburg; brother, Ralph Ellett of Alto Pass; brother, Robert Wright of Ware, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

     Everett was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Clarence, William and James Wright.

     There will be no services.
