Earl Keith Brasier

     Earl Keith Brasier, age 82 of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:34 PM, on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

     Keith was born on December 7, 1942, in Cowling, Illinois to the late Revus and Lillian (Bolieber) Brasier.  On September 27, 1991 he married Judith Vaughn and she survives in Harrisburg.  Keith graduated from Carmi High School.  He served his country in the United States Army in Hawaii during, but not in Vietnam.  Keith worked on the family farm with his father.  He also worked on an Oil Rig in Ohio.  Keith then worked for GTE then later Verizon as a Senior Tech in fiber optics.  He loved woodworking and building things.  Keith enjoyed gardening; working in the vegetable and flower gardens and out in the yard.  He cared deeply about his family, and took great care of them providing and fixing things for family.  Keith loved hanging out at BBQ Barn in the mornings.

     Earl is survived by his wife, Judith Brasier of Harrisburg; son Ryan Keith Brasier and wife, Brooke of Golconda; daughter, Janetta Lane and husband, Preston of Virginia; step-daughter, Stephanie Church and husband Todd of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Justin Karlsson and wife Sherese of Texas; Jaqueline Karlsson of South Carolina; J.K. Karlsson and wife Emily of Colorado; Breanne Wilkinson and husband, Brady of Eddyville, Illinois; Travis Cluck of Cowden, Illinois; Anthony Cluck of Harrisburg; Logsdon Church of Harrisburg; and six great grand-children, Saviar, TaShara and Mani Karlsson of Texas; Addison Wilkenson of Eddyville, Illinois; and Clare and Jack Karlsson of Colorado.      

     In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his step-son, Stephen Reynolds; sister, Judy Crowe; and brother, Jess Martin.
