Dorothy Louise (Houston) Millspaugh

      Dorothy Louise Millspaugh, 93, of Equality finally gained her eternal reward on April 1, 2023 and went to her home in heaven.

      Dorothy was born on October 22, 1929 in Equality to the late James and Mary Elizabeth (Wallace) Houston. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and devoted sister. Her true pursuit was to serve God and to have a relationship with Christ.  She served her Savior as a pastor for over 50 years in the Church of God and she also worked a nurse for many years.
      Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Pam Hise of Equality; two grandsons, Jody Aud of Equality and Jimmy Hise and wife Angi, of Equality; granddaughter, Julie Aud of Raleigh; great granddaughters, Amber Aud of Marion; Amy Aud of Eldorado; Kaitlyn Dalton and husband Christian, of Eldorado; and Jade Hise of Marion; five great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John Millspaugh; son in law Delbert Hise; sisters, Margaret Kitchens, Mary Montgomery, Hattie Kennedy, Rachel Dailey and a brother James Austin Houston.
     Visitation for Dorothy Louise Millspaugh will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM, Friday, April 7, 2023 with funeral services immediately following at 1PM at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Rev. Jack Hall will officiate and burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Equality. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God World Missions envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
