Dorothy Elaine (Syers) Duncan

     Dorothy Elaine Duncan, age 83 of Harrisburg, passed away at 8:50 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

     Dorothy was born on August 14, 1942 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Talbott S. and Helen (Hazley) Syers.  On June 26, 1962 she married Noble Dale Duncan and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2006.  Dorothy worked as a waitress.     

      Dorothy is survived by her son, William Duncan of Evansville, Indiana; and a grandson; great granddaughter, Samantha Duncan Thrasher; several great grandchildren; nephew, Richard Fulkerson and wife, Cindy; nephew, Mike Syers; niece, Julie Syers Dunn; sister-in-law, Sue Syers; and several cousins.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Noble, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Sue Duncan; daughter-in-law, Lisa Duncan; sister, Letha Fulkerson and husband, Ward; and brother, Tom Syers.

      Graveside services for Dorothy Elaine Duncan will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.  Rev. Trent Duncan will officiate.
