Doris (Murrie) Schwartz

     Doris Schwartz, age 80 of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Harrisburg, went to be with Jesus, Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was surrounded by family and friends.

     She was born on September 28, 1940 in Vienna, Illinois to the late James Earl and Ollie (Anderson) Murrie Katz. Doris was a born again Christian and loved life. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Growing up in Harrisburg, Doris became a nurse and she was a lifelong caregiver.

     Doris is survived by a daughter, Theresa Schwartz Case of Tucson, Arizona; sons, Kyle Glen Schwartz of Harrisburg, Illinois; and Thomas Ray Schwartz of Tucson, Arizona; half brother, James E. Murrie and half sister, Debbie Stafford both of Grantsburg, Illinois; seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

     Doris was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jim” Murrie and Robert “Bob” Murrie, both of Harrisburg, Illinois; Joan Murrie Case of Fernandina Beach, Florida; grandson, Justin Schwartz and nephew Jeff Murrie, both of Harrisburg, Illinois.

     There will be no services.
