Doris M. Deaton

     Doris M. Deaton, age 78 of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:52 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

     Doris was born on April 13, 1942, to the late William Harvey Deaton and Annie Belle (Logsdon) in Harrisburg.  Doris worked in housekeeping at Harrisburg Care Center.  Doris was an avid baby-sitter.  Doris also enjoyed attending church, listening to music and formerly had quite a record collection.

     Doris is survived by friends, Judy and Billy Sivok of Harrisburg.

     In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Deaton and brother, Robert “Bobby” Deaton.

     Funeral services for Doris M. Deaton will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM at Reed Funeral Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
