Desirea Jo (Dolden) Melchor

     Desirea Jo (Dolden) Melchor, age 37, of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:03 PM, Friday, May 7, 2021 at her residence.

     Desirea was born on April 24, 1984 to Anthony N. Dolden and Kimberlie Winters.  On September 14, 2013, Desirea married Esteban Melchor.  She worked through D.O.R.S. as a personal assistant where she took care of her special cousin Allie Rogers.  She formerly worked at Russell Oil Company and Turner Manor.  She loved the Lord and her children. She was a jokester who loved to laugh, dance and cook.  She was full of life and was a good mother.  She enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings.

     Desirea is survived by her husband Esteban Melchor of Harrisburg; four children, Lacey Kaylynn Price of Harrisburg; Layla Jo Rosa Scott of Harrisburg; Jasper David Anthony Melchor of Harrisburg; Saylor Nell Juana Melchor of Harrisburg; mother, Kimberlie Winters of Harrisburg; brother Andrew Ryan Dolden and wife Barb of Harrisburg; maternal grandfather, John Winters and wife Catherine of Galatia; paternal grandmother Roena Nell Dolden of Eldorado; nephews, Braden and Bradley; niece, Graceyn; several aunts, cousins and step-mother Sheila Dolden.  

     Desirea was preceded in death by her father Anthony N. Dolden; maternal grandmother Kay Partain; and paternal grandfather, Joseph Dolden

     Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 7 PM at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Rev. John Winters and Rev. Jimmy Dale Lambert will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM at Reed Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reed Funeral Chapel.
