Cynthia "Cindy" Gaye Reynolds

Cynthia Gaye Reynolds, 63 of McLeansboro, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:09 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her residence.

     Cindy was born on November 14, 1961 in Harrisburg, to the late Richard and Ramona (Cobb) Reynolds. Cindy loved her oldies and classic rock music, Special Olympics, dancing, Bingo, and time with her family and friends. No one was a stranger to Cindy. She had a big personality. Those who knew her will not easily forget her and her sense of humor.

     Cindy is survived by her sister, Debbie Reynolds of Urbana, Illinois; sister, Robin (Reynolds) Mathis and husband Mike of Normal, Illinois; and sister, Lisa (Reynolds) Moffett of Wyoming, Illinois; niece, Tammy (Mathis) Zimmerman and husband Scott of Normal; nephew, Tim Mathis and wife Amanda of Chillicothe, Illinois; great nieces and nephews, Karissa Zimmerman and Kylie Zimmerman of Normal, Illinois; and Brynlee Mathis and Ryan Mathis of Chillicothe, Illinois.

     Private funeral services will be held and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Rev Dewayne Taylor will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics and will be received at the funeral home.
