Cora Mae (Dutton) Philbrick

     Cora Mae Philbrick, age 86 of Davenport, Iowa formerly of Harrisburg passed away at 2:57 PM, on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the home of her son.

    Cora was born on June 29, 1939 in Rock Creek, Illinois to the late William Albert and Grethel Easter (Grace) Dutton.  On October 22, 1971 she married Howard Kenneth Philbrick and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2021.  Cora was a homemaker and enjoyed jewelry, going to flea markets and flower gardening.  She was a hard worker.       

     Cora is survived by her sons, Wendell Tracy Moss and wife, Earlene of Hollister, Missouri; and Edward Lee Moss and wife, Karry of Davenport, Iowa; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Nadine Douglas of Pittsfield, Illinois; sister, Stella Doris Lampert and husband, Ivan of Harrisburg, Illinois; sister, Betty Pauline Phillips of Harrisburg, Illinois; brother, Charles Joseph Dutton and wife, Linda of Springfield, Illinois; brother, Ronald Dean Dutton and wife, Janet of Harrisburg, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.  

     In addition to her parents and husband, Kenneth, Cora was preceded in death by her two sons, Harvey Phillip Moss and William Keith Moss; brother, Oren Donald Dutton; sister, Buelah Frances Norris; and sister, Margie Jean Moss.

    Memorial services for Cora Mae Philbrick will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg.  Rev. Jeff Owens will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Stricklin Funeral Home.
