Conrad Lee Morse

     Conrad Lee Morse, age 79 of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:13 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale surrounded by his family.

     Conrad was born on October 11, 1946 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Leo and Opal (Thomas) Morse.  He worked for the State of Illinois as a Correctional Officer at Menard Correctional Facility.  Conrad was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Harrisburg.  He loved fast motorcycles and cars.  Conrad had a great sense of humor.  He loved life and enjoyed being with his friends and he was very proud of his son David.

     Conrad is survived by his son, David Morse and wife, Stacey of Harrisburg; grandson, Dustin Morse and fiancée Ebony Fields of Eldorado; and great grandchildren, Oliver Lee Morse and Ivory Starlyn Morse of Eldorado.

      Graveside services for Conrad Lee Morse will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Sunset Garden Cemetery.  Rev. Art Donley will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Stricklin Funeral Home.
