Connie Stricklin Obituary
Connie Beth Stricklin (née Kennedy), age 73, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on January 12, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1952.
Connie was a lifelong resident of Harrisburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Stricklin; her parents, Wilma Kennedy of Carrier Mills, Illinois, and Charles Kennedy of Belvidere, Tennessee; and her siblings Dennis Johnson, Karen Lutwinski, and John Kennedy.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Harris, Tina Sasser (husband Todd Sasser), and Angie LeMaster.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, listed as follows: Danielle Forrester (husband Justin Forrester), Brandon Sasser, Joshua Miller, Daniel Miller, Derek Miller (wife Marissa Miller), Brittany Harris, and Haylee LeMaster.
Connie was blessed with great-grandchildren. Those of Danielle and Justin Forrester include Blakley Forrester, Wesley Forrester, and Oliver Forrester. Her remaining great-grandchildren include Natalie Miller, Mason Miller, and Carter Miller (children of Daniel Miller); Easton Miller (son of Derek and Marissa Miller); and Cassius Baumgart and Prudence Harris (children of Brittany Harris).
She is further survived by her siblings Madonna Kennedy, Susan BenSavage, and Patrick Kennedy.
A graveside service will be held on January 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois, for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe to help with memorial costs and other related expenses for this unexpected loss. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
