Christopher George Isaac Unthank

     Christopher “Chris” George Isaac Unthank, age 42 of Harrisburg, passed away at 3 AM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Carrier Mills.

     Chris was born on November 28, 1981 in Eldorado to George Isaac Unthank and Cindy Cochran.  On June 18, 2018 he married Destiny Unthank and she survives in Harrisburg.  Chris was the owner of Unique Auto Sales in Harrisburg.  He attended Dorrisville Baptist Church.  Chris loved his family, enjoyed boating and camping, vehicles and loved music.  He would clear his head on his motorcycle.  Chris was a self-made man who loved the Lord and loved his business.        

     Chris is survived by his wife, Destiny Unthank of Harrisburg; son, Austin Christopher  Unthank of Harrisburg; son, Andrew Christopher Unthank and Teslyn Jenkins; son, Aiden Christopher Unthank; daughter, Adrian Carter; daughter, Adleigh Unthank; one unborn grandchild; brother, Billy Unthank and wife Marty of Eldorado; brother, Gary Unthank of Indiana; sister, Trish Gibbs Huffman of Tennessee; sister, Linda Goolsby of Eldorado; brothers-in-Christ, Joseph Brown, Eric Hopkins, Billy Cummins, Jonah Carter, Eric Heflin, Cory Trail, Justin Wargel, and Kyle Bowers;  brother-in-law, Dalton Hutchison; brother-in-law, Gunner Doyle; sister-in-law, Harper Williams; sister-in-law, Haven Williams; mother-in-law, Nancy Hurst; many others who he loved; faithful employees; many friends in the car business; Unique Auto Family employees, Sarah Heberer, Cory Trail, Zander Hunt and many more.

     Chris was preceded in death by his father, George Isaac Unthank; sister, Marsha Gibbs; friend, Nathan Rheude; brother-in-law, Chris Goolsby; great grandmother, Essie Horton, and grandmother, Faye Huckabee.

     Funeral services for Christopher “Chris” George Isaac Unthank will be held at 12 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Joe Brown will officiate and burial will follow in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024. To help with funeral expenses, memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
