Christine (Tuttle) Allen

     Christine Allen age 80, of Harrisburg passed away at 2:59 AM, May 16, 2024 at Harrisburg Medical Center.
     Christine was born on July 19, 1943 in Galatia to the late Floyd and Charlotte (Moore) Tuttle. She married Dave Allen on September 30, 2015 and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2021. Christine enjoyed baking, cooking, embroidery, sewing, crocheting, but spoiling her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. She attended North America Baptist Church. Christine also enjoyed redecorating her house every year. Christine was a sweetheart who wouldn’t hurt anyone.
     Christine is survived by her son Dewey Boatright and wife Dusky of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Brandon Boatright and wife Rebekah of Harrisburg, Destiny Boatright of Harrisburg, Christopher Boatright of Harrisburg; three great grandchildren, Mathew Boatright of Harrisburg, Mason Boatright of Harrisburg, and Ryker Dettman of Iowa; one sister, Peggy Lynn Tuttle of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents and her husband Dave, Christine was preceded in death by her brother Tom Tuttle and her sister Judy Tuttle, brother, Richard Allen Tuttle, and sister, Carol Mae Tuttle.
     Funeral services for Christine Allen will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Rev. Dale Martin will officiate and burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery at Eldorado. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
