Charles "Tony" Beal, of Harrisburg, at the age of 84, sadly has passed away on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at the Harrisburg Medical Center.
Tony was born in December of 1937 to the late Paul and Dorothy (Cavens) Beal. In December 1956 he married Lucretia Winters and she proceeded him in death in May 2019. In 1986 Tony retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, after more than two decades of service to the community. Officer Charles Beal was a highly decorated officer.
Tony and Lee raised six children and shared a lifetime of sports, camping, sight-seeing, ballroom dancing, sailing, scuba diving, motorcycling and traveling; full of countless adventures from coast to coast and across the seas.
Tony is survived by four sons, Keith of Irvine, California; Steven (Avery) of Montgomery, Alabama; Donald (Laura) of Hillsboro, Missouri; and Daniel (Sallyann) of Harrisburg, Illinois; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Dorothy, wife Lucretia Beal, daughter Mary Shea, son Anthony, grandson John, brothers Robert and Harold, and their sister Wilma Hagan.
