Calvin Thomas "Tom" Sheldon

     Calvin Thomas “Tom” Sheldon, age 65 of Eldorado, passed away at 1:35 PM, Monday, February 10, 2025 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

     Tom was born on April 28, 1959 in Harrisburg to the late Carl Eugene and Shirley Ann (Quertermous) Sheldon.  Tom was the owner and operator of S&S Car Care and Sheldon Painting. He also previously worked in the coal mines. Tom enjoyed bass fishing, hunting and hunting arrowheads. 

      Tom is survived by his four children, son, Matthew Sheldon and wife Sarah of Billings, Montana; daughter, Stephanie Rowan of Billings, Montana; daughter, Casey Sheldon of Harrisburg; son, Logan Sheldon and wife Makaylynn of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren, Grace; Bo; Brady; Kailee and husband Manny Arredondo of Billings, Montana; Jacob; Hailey; Kashten; and Quincy; one great-grandson, Zaydn; brother, Eugene Sheldon and wife Lisa of Harrisburg; sister, Karen McIntosh and husband Lennie of Southington, Ohio; sister, Brenda Mitchell and husband H.E. of Harrisburg; brother, Charlie Sheldon and wife Terressa of Harrisburg; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Louise Quertermous; uncle, Gary Quertermous and wife Joanie; and uncle, Steve Quertermous.  

     In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Rowan; uncle, Jack Quertermous; aunt, Helen Owen and husband George; uncle, Dale Quertermous; and uncle, Mike Quertermous.

     Funeral services for Calvin Thomas “Tom” Sheldon will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Bro. Jeff Horton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Stricklin Funeral Home.
