Brenda Joyce Dorries

     Brenda Joyce Dorries, age 85, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Axiom Healthcare.

     Brenda was born on October 13, 1939 in Harrisburg to the late Robert William and Letty Dorries.  She was an LPN and formerly worked for Harrisburg Medical Center and Saline Care Center.  Brenda was a caring and devoted mother; she was a caregiver at heart.  She did her absolute best with what she had. 

      Brenda is survived by her son, Jeff Dorries and wife Tori of Carbondale; two grandsons, Joshua Aaron Dorries of Carmi; and Justin Dean Dorries of Carmi; great grand-daughter, Heidi Dorries of Carmi; and niece, Lisa Jodoi and husband Robyn of Lutz, Florida.

     In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dorries and a sister, Betty Nelson.

     No services will be held for Brenda Joyce Dorries.
