Bonnie Estes Obituary

     Bonnie Lou Estes, age 92 of Hanover Park passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Ascension Alexian Brothers, Elk Grove Village surrounded by her family.

     Bonnie was born on September 21, 1932 in Harrisburg to the late Robert and Lola (Thompson) Bernard.  On July 8, 1950 she married Ray Estes and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1997.  Bonnie was a homemaker.  She loved knitting and crocheting.  Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

     Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sandra Klinn and husband Lewis of West Chicago, Illinois; son, David Estes and wife Donna of Hanover Park, Illinois; daughter, Lisa Myers and husband Scott of South Elgin, Illinois; son, Eric Estes of Hanover Park, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Mark Klinn and wife Norma of Algonquin, Illinois; Gina Zastrow and husband Nick of South Elgin, Illinois; Nathan Estes of Waupun, Wisconsin; Tonya Fisher and husband Dan of St. Joseph’s, Michigan; Ryan Myers and wife Stephanie of Reno, Nevada; Kara Myers and fiancée, Sam Manzella of St. Charles, Illinois; Kevin Myers of Carmel, California; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including, Rita Patton and husband Frank of Harrisburg, Illinois; Jada Davis and husband Jason of Harrisburg, Illinois; and Mason Trammel of Fort Branch, Indiana.

     In addition to her parents and husband Ray, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Johnson and Ovella Trammel.

     Private services were held for Bonnie Lou Estes at Stricklin Funeral Home. Rev. Trent Duncan officiated and burial followed at Sunset Garden Cemetery.
