Beverly Ann (Bristow) Thomas

     Beverly Ann Thomas, age 86 of Eldorado, formerly of Harrisburg passed away at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Eldorado Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her family.

     Beverly was born on June 28, 1939 in Harrisburg to the late Joseph and Nellie Mae (Bumgarner) Bristow Jr.   On October 14, 1956 she married Don Thomas Sr. and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2016.  Beverly worked in the Floral Department at Harrisburg Kroger until her retirement.  She was a member of Dorrisville Baptist Church.  Beverly was a graduate of the Harrisburg High School Class of 1958.  She loved crocheting, sewing, watching the hummingbirds and her Dusky Conure parakeet named “Charlie”.  Beverly enjoyed playing games on her iPad, especially Candy Crush and browsing Facebook and watching TV.

     Beverly is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Combs of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Jami Dunk and husband, Paul of Dupo; Ashley Sanders of Harrisburg; Jared Combs of Eldorado; Craig Adams and wife, Brett of Harrisburg; Sean Adams and wife, Brittany of Galatia; nine great grandchildren, Gabe, Evan, and Carter Dunk of Dupo; Harley, Graycee and Finlay Adams of Galatia; Griffin and Fletcher Adams of Harrisburg; and Jayce Combs of Eldorado; brother, Ronnie Bristow and wife, Pam of Tennison, Indiana; sister, Linda Simpson of Cave-in-Rock; brother, Alan Bristow of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Don Sr., Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Donald Gene Thomas, Jr.; daughter, Ginny Adams; sister, Rita Cornaghie; and brother, Burt Bristow.

     Graveside services for Beverly Ann Thomas will be held at 1PM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Liberty Cemetery in Harrisburg.  Rev. William Rawlings will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Stricklin Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Cemetery or Finding Forever Animal Rescue and will be received at the funeral home.
