Beulah Burl (Doolin) Huff

    Beulah Burl Huff, age 96 of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:25 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Villas of Hollybrook surrounded by her family.

     Beulah was born on May 8, 1929 in Delwood, Illinois to the late Dan and Allie (Floyd) Doolin.  On October 6, 1946 she married Norman “Dick” Cooper, and he preceded her in death in July of 1985.  On December 3, 1997 she married Andy Huff and he survives in Harrisburg.  Beulah was a homemaker and she loved going dancing with her husband, Andy.  She also loved flower gardening.

     In addition to her husband, Andy, Beulah is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dunn Smith and husband, Robert of Ball Ground, Georgia; daughter, Carolyn L. Howton and husband, Dwight of Harrisburg; daughter, Deborah Godwin and husband, Loren of Jasper, Georgia; son, Charles Cooper and wife, Kristi of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Norman, Beulah was preceded in death by her son, Richard L. Cooper; sister, Emily Mechan; sister, Thelma Crowder; sister, Bernice Bailey; brother, James Doolin; and sister, Bonnie Fulkerson

     Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children and will be received at the funeral home.
