Anna Mae Gaskins Obituary

      Anna Mae Gaskins, 93 of Harrisburg passed away at 12:50 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 peacefully of natural causes in her sleep.

      Anna Mae was born on July 16, 1929 at Walnut Grove Community near Harrisburg to the late Truman (Deceased) and Beulah (Dixon) Yates (Deceased). She married Robert L. Gaskins (Deceased) of Harrisburg on October 13, 1951 who preceded her in death on May 25, 1974. Robert and his Brother, Bert owned and operated Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg. 

      Anna Mae was a loving caregiver and mother, who was devoted to her entire family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Harrisburg, the United Methodist Women for many years, selling Rada Cutlery for the Church. Anna Mae was the district Chairman for Girl Scout Cookie Sales for several years.

      Anna Mae is survived by two children, David Gaskins of Eldorado; Susie Gaskins (Dorris) Lehman of Harrisburg; Eight grandchildren, Robbie Dorris (April); Doug Dorris (Jess), Wes Dorris, Drew Rowland (Caitlin), Chris Lehman (Amy); Jennifer Wasson (Burke), Ben Lehman (Cara) ; and Matt Lehman (Taylor):Twenty-six great grandchildren: Eight great-great grandchildren. Two Sisters, Betty Lands (Deceased) and Barbara Henderson.
